Salt Lake Area
For students with no masonry training:
This 300-hour course includes 60 hours of classroom instruction from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Thursday evenings. Students will not miss work on Fridays because eight hours of credit will be given to each student who performs bricklaying on the job on Fridays. The instructor will provide personal instructions to students when he visits their job sites on Fridays. Saturday’s class is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm at the campus. Tools may be checked out and returned when the course is completed or purchased through the College. Cost: $300.00 + tools, if needed

For students who desire to improve their masonry skills:
A ten-week hands-on-training course will be held on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. There will be limited book work. Cost: $265.00 + tools, if needed

Both courses are open-enrollment and held at the SLCC Redwood Campus, Room Construction Trades 025, 4600 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah.

It would be ideal if students could enroll before March 8, 2007. The easiest enrollment procedure: contact Terry Pritchett at 801.361.2184 and he will arrange for a simple, speedy enrollment. Call Aleta at 801.486.7200 with any questions or concerns.
