Explain the Project and its Unique Use of Masonry Materials and Techniques:
After the tremendous success of Ricks first Springville Utah Strap Tank Restaurant he decided that another location in the northern part of Utah County would be just the ticket. After securing land in the hottest real estate district in Lehi and having to battle with the outlets mall across the street because the existing restaurants didn't want the competition, the project was on. The initial concept was to have a tilt-up and stucco building but because Rick was the general contractor and he got his start in the building industry as a mason contractor, that concept was quickly dropped for a full brick building. Rick has always used Hobble Creek Masonry on his special projects because Dave Kenney is as good as they get when it comes to custom brick work. The special brick details that were put into this project were thought up as Rick and Dave walked around the building with the conversation starting with "hey, what if we do this" and out of those conversations and note pad drawings this amazing building came to life. This amazing building will be a masonry showcase for years to come!
