WINSTON HOME

Project Confirmation Number:  6352

Entry Category:
Residential: One & Two Family Structures

Project Location:
1601 E Yalecrest Ave.
Salt Lake City, Utah 84103
United States

Brief description of the project:
This is an All Brick home that replaced an existing home on the lot. The previous home was a frame, wood sided home that was demolished and replaced with this all brick home. The new home was built to fit in and match much of the existing neighborhood, adding to the overall appeal of the neighborhood.

Size of Building:
5,600 Square Feet

Amount of Masonry Used (include all types and number of units):
100 % brick exterior.
Two color blend, using approximately 40,000 brick

Project completion date: June 2018

Explain the project and its unique use of masonry materials and techniques:
This project used 2 different color's of brick, which were blended on site. the two colors give the home a richness in the depth of color and texture. The brick was ruff texture, an "old school" look. Coupled with the architectural looks of Soldier courses and additional end treatments give the project great depth and a look of a "bygone" era of Masonry
